Pearl Edward Hoggarth was born on the family farm northwest of Kensal ND, in McKinnon township  23 Dec 1909. Married Mathilda Marie Kawalski on Jan 5th, 1943 St. Mary's Church, Courtenay, ND

Obituary

Funeral services for Pearl E. Hoggarth, Kensal farmer, were held Monday at St John's Catholic Church at Kensal with Rev. John N. Wanzek officiating. Mr. Hoggarth died Friday at Jamestown Hospital.

Miss Janet Bata was organist for the services and the church choir sang.

Pallbearers were Bernard Kramer, Arthur Guenther, Alfred Jorgenson, Edward Gauderman, Adolph Hogan and Robert Sherlock. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Kensal. Evans-Knott Funeral Home of Carrington was in charge of arrangements.

Born Dec. 23,1909, at Kensal, Mr. Hoggarth was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hoggarth. He lived and farmed in the Kensal community all of his life. His, marriage to Mathilda Kawalski took place Jan. 5, 1943, in Courtenay.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Bernard Hoggarth, Iowa City, Iowa, and Lester Hoggarth, Jamestown; one daughter, Mrs. Darold Kracht (Theresa), Kensal; six grand-children; and two brothers, Vern Hoggarth, Kensal, and Ben Hoggarth, Courtenay.
