 John W. Johnson b. 4 Oct 1878 in Wisconsin. Came Kensal area in 1885 at age 7. His parents home steaded 5 miles NW of Kensal.  

  He married Mary Nelson 22 Nov 1905. Mary C.( b. 9 Oct 1885 Wisc  d. 11Jun 1957 came to ND age 2.) John d. 1 Sept 1938.    Children: Clyde, Merlin (Mrs Georgr Krubeck, June (Mrs LeRoy Johnson .
