A.C. Nelson was born 29 March 1884, Norway to Nils and Beret Peterson and died 8 Apr 1962.  He came to US when he was 18 and married Mabel Hanse 25 May 1915. In 1920 they moved to  Kensal, ND where he operated the Nelson Grocery Store until 1960. Brothers: Even, Peder,  Albert, Johannes, Hammon John. Sisters: Nikoline, Petrine,and Raghild. 

 Mabel Flora was born 26 April 1890 South Dakota. and died 1 July 1957. She taught rural  schools before she married Anton. Brothers: Carl, Hilmer, and William. Sisters: Thilda Josephine  and Ellen 

They had three daughters. Mabel A. (Merlin Johnson,) Margaret Earl Ableidinger), Lois B.  Peder J. Florhaug) and one son Elwood married Beverly Bowman.
